Secure File Transfer

This service removes, once and for all, the problems, hassles, and waste caused since the Internet began with trying to send large attachments through the e-mail system.

Every Planner, other professionals, and most business people know of these problems and for some it's a major cost to overcome and often an embarrassment as well.  This system is extremely secure whereas e-mails are not.  You might even consider using it for documents where confidentiality requires more than even the Post or a Courier can offer.

Some examples of how this facility is being used.

  • Every Planner has a number of clients who are more paranoid than others about how their personal information is transferred from their Planner, Accountant, Solicitor, Doctor, etc.  The 6-8% Rule indicates this percentage fall into this category.  Hence, for a significant part of your client base you can offer something they get no where else and something that they need.
  • Other Planners, to ensure clients are regularly visiting their website, 'send' any important mail through this system.
  • Others use it for any large file to remove the problematic nature of large attachments and  Internet limitations and SPAM filters.
  • Others offer this services to their larger clients as a way of differentiating that group from others.
  • Others us it for an internal staff file transfer system when working remotely.
  • Others with widely dispersed clients use it to upload files they want when visiting distant parts.

Others are simply happy to promote it as one of a suite of extra services they offer to demonstrate the extra effort they go to to help.

A good audit trail also.

When a file is uploaded the system automatically advises the Sendee by e-mail.  When the Sendee clicks o the file and downloads it the Sender receives an e-mail saying so.  This happens in reverse also and there have been cases when a recipient claims not to have received a document but the Sender has an e-mail notification that they did.

Finally, you might even consider telling your clients of this service, as they too have a need to transfer larger files to their clients and Secure FTP will solve their problems as well.


Secure FTP works via a button on your web site.  When clicked on, a log in screen appears where you enter a Username and Password.

When a file is uploaded it's encrypted and this isn't reversed until the intended recipient downloads it.

This service can be added to almost any website.

User levels. Secure FTP comes with a 15 User License, however, this can be increased to what ever you want in due course @ $1 each User License per year, the next level is an extra 35.  The cost of the 15 User level is $390.50 pa.
