A customised and functional Facebook presence is important as it will increasingly shape the way your Practice interacts with current and potential clients. It is also an important new tool for implementing your marketing strategies and attaining your objectives.

Over the coming months, we will work with you to develop an understanding of how social media marketing operates and enhance your Practice's Facebook and social media marketing presence.

There are two parts to this Trial, alongside the Facebook Marketing Trial we will also run an in-house Social Media Research Program. The research component is designed to test best practices and tailor the best possible marketing strategy advice to your Practice. Several hundred Australian Planners and Accountants will be involved and we hope you are among them.

Our Facebook Marketing Trial includes:

  • A Facebook Business Page for your business. Free for the first 50 who need one, just ask! We can also work with your existing Business or Private pages to enhance their impact and professionalism. If you have a page then please forward the link.
  • 3 month trial of unique and industry specific content feeds. Free!* We use these feeds to regularly update your Facebook page with client relevant material so that your Practice continues to pop up in their Facebook News Feeds. For example, one feed will be the articles we currently add to your website and these will automatically link back to your site for extra impact. This is a great way to stay connected and remain relevant in the Facebook universe. After the trial period ends you can choose to subscribe to our ongoing industry specific Social Media feeds.
  • In the near future we will roll out our marketing development strategies for Twitter and LinkedIn and your business will be the first to benefit.

Our Social Media Research Program includes:

  • 2 Research Reports. Free! These reports will detail our findings and highlight social media best practice and marketing strategies that work for Australian Financial Planners. We will also compile information and examples from around the world about successful social media implementation for providers of professional services.
  • Hands on experience! We will work closely with a number of our clients to test ideas and systems and report the findings to all.
  • Ongoing and personalised support. Feel free to contact us with any questions about social media marketing during the trial period.
  • The opportunity to provide feedback. We will be conducting online surveys to gain a broader understanding of the issues involves in social media marketing.

Why is PlannerWeb conducting this trial?

Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are great new technologies and have fantastic business potential but lots of questions remain unanswered. Also, more and more of our clients are wondering why they need a Facebook page and how to make it more productive. Some of the questions our programs are looking to answer are:

  • How does social media marketing fit into an Australian Planner or Accountant's marketing strategy implementation?
  • How do the technologies work?
  • How can your business generate Facebook 'Like' and 'Share' responses?
  • How can you build client interaction through Facebook in a way that helps attain your marketing objectives?
  • What are the realistic limits of social media marketing?
  • What costs are involved?
  • Who is the best target market for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn?

To sign up simply click here and include a link to your Business or Private Facebook page(s). If you don't have a Facebook page and would like us to build you one for free then ask ( limited to the first 50). Sign up here.

Our research will be based on data complied from the Facebook pages of participants in the Facebook Marketing Trial, the findings of our Advisory Panel, literature reviews and client surveys. The Research Reports will be authored by Peter Graham, Director of PlannerWeb and AcctWeb, who has 25 years experience as a marketing consultant.

This offering is unique to PlannerWeb and AcctWeb who have over a decade's experience working with Planners and Accountants to help get more from their Internet and website usage.
