The WedgeTail Bundle

This Bundle provides enough content services to allow the implementation of any marketing strategy used by Financial Planners / Advisers.  Less services means the website is not as flexible or useful.

The WedgeTail Bundle is a collective name for the nine (9) content related services we provide that help make a site into a proper website based marketing and communication solution.  These services are designed to overcome the 6-8% Rule as well as give a website the ability to help you implement whatever marketing strategies you plan to use over the next 12-18 months.

By bundling these services together we can supply $3,500 worth of content and related services to your website 24/7 for a price that fits Advisers' budgets, $1,499 pa.

The WedgeTail Bundle:

1.  5-7 articles per month and uploaded to your site Free Of Charge.  Advisers have tried and tried to supply their own articles and newsletters but have always failed to regularly do so.  Our monthly updates means your is never out of date and it trains search engines to come back to your site and re-index it.  Also, search engines seem to love indexing the articles we add to client sites via our SoW database system.  

We update the site, the minimum you have to do is simply send an e-mail to all of your clients every month to demonstrate your interest in their needs.  They simply like to see you doing something.  More than once a month is too often and less will waste marketing opportunities.

2.  Content Management System (CMS).  Our content manager (based on SoW technology) is designed for those with very limited time, no prior experience, and no training which is just about all Financial Advisers. 

Our CMS also helps our clients perform search engine optimisation (SEO) work to improve their listing and rankings.

The CMS also helps with other strategy implementation.  For example, add articles about the Practice or for special interest groups amongst your clients; SEO; and managing Landing Pages when target marketing.

3.  Financial Tools / Calculators.  Some sites report that up to 35% of their traffic is to the calculators.  Financial Tools / Calculators are a great way to provide interactivity, lock clients into your processes.  When a client uses this resource their information is stored so they can come back via your website to edit it in the future.  

NEW:  These Tools have just been upgraded so that the level included in this Bundle now gives the user their full cash flow position rather than just some calculators and there's an integrated Fact Find system in the top level of subscription that is expected to save 20-40 minutes per Review meeting - a big $ saving over a full year.

Some strategy implications.  Increase financial literacy to take advantage of people’s increased propensity to invest if improvements are made in this area; promote Intergeneration marketing; update client information before Reviews;  extra tools clients can use; promote referrals; Lead generation; satisfy the 6-8% of clients who like to Budget; and satisfy the 6-8% of clients who want a better understanding of their Super.

4.  Secure File Transfer.  The ability to offer a service for the more demanding of clients in regard to the safely of their information. 

Strategy implications.  Security of information; transfer of large files; used by some Planners to send their mail; audit trail; clients have to return to the Adviser’s website to use; and 6-8% of clients wants more security of their  information.

5.  eWombat.  A search engine designed for that 6-8% of Adviser and Accountant clients who like to do some research before speaking asking a question.    This facility adds over 1 million links (including all at the ATO) to a website and covers over 185 websites. 

Strategy implications.  Provides reasons to return to a website; provides a significant knowledge base; an extra service to show you’re trying harder than the next Adviser;

6.   Information Ticker.  There are three (3) options.  One is industry information, another runs the Latest News through it, and the third allows a Practice to enter their own messages.  These tickers are unique to PlannerWeb.

 Strategy implications.  Provide information; and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, to add peripheral movement to a website as this helps viewer concentration.

7.   One year content updating when needed.  While sites have a CMS there isn’t always time to do what you want so many of our clients send us content updates and we do it as part of this Bundle's subscription.  No annoying invoices or your staff wasting time on irregular content updates

8. 3-4 marketing Communiqué throughout the year.  No one has ever known all there is to know about how to use websites or all the marketing ideas and options a Practice has.  These Communiqué seek to help fill that gap by providing our subscribers with ideas and thoughts we pick up during the year.  A major focus in these documents is how to use website technology to implement marketing strategies.

9. Free of charge online training on Financial Tools/Calculators.   This is done via Webinar sessions.  Subscribers register and attend – usually one-on-one.

 

When the WedgeTail Bundle is subscribed to we also add the following to a site ASX Stock price lookup; Quicklinks; and the ASX Graph.


The services of the WedgeTail can be ‘bolted-on‘ to a website built using Joomla and some can be added to a site built using WordPress.
